Nestled on the banks of the Manatee River, the community of Ellenton is home to a little over 4100 people. Ellenton is just minutes away from Bradenton and Sarasota, with the beach communities of Anna Maria Island, Holmes Beach and Longboat Key just a short drive away. There is much history here dating back to the Civil War. Ellenton hosts the Gamble Plantation, the only surviving antebellum plantation house in South Florida.
